My approach

Supervision

Clinical supervision is a professional and ethical requirement for counsellors and psychotherapists in the UK. All counsellors and psychotherapists attend supervision, usually for a minimum of 1.5 hours a month, in line with BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) requirements. I offer supervision in person and online. I work with counsellors and psychotherapists.

My training as a supervisor was undertaken with Relational Change (http://relationalchange.com/).

Looking for a supervisor?

If you are looking for a supervisor I would be happy to talk with you on the phone to see if it will be beneficial for us to work together. If we wish to proceed we can arrange an introductory meeting in the first instance.

My approach to supervision

As a supervisor, I aim to create a supportive and inclusive environment, in which you can gain deeper insights and understandings to improve your clinical practice.

Supervision is a relationship which can offer support, and allow you to share relevant aspects of yourself and your work. It's a place for you to reflect on any difficulties you may experience and also to celebrate your successes. We will work together collaboratively within clear boundaries to ensure ethical practice while also normalising your experiences and providing encouragement.

I take a relational approach and am mindful of the importance of cultural context, privilege and power dynamics in our work. All aspects of your work are welcome.
