How can counselling and psychotherapy help?
Counselling and psychotherapy offer a safe place where you can express your feelings and explore your difficulties in a confidential, supportive and non-judgemental setting.

My aim is to work with you to create an environment which can help you understand more about yourself, and support you to make choices that help rather than hinder you in life. For more information about how I work see my approach.
I believe that therapy can provide enormous support to individuals, and I have experience of seeing clients grow and change, as they find more satisfying ways to live their lives.
The next step

If you decide to come for therapy we will meet for an initial assessment session (50 minutes). This allows you to see who I am and whether my way of working will fit for you. I will also find out more about you and what you need from therapy. If we are both interested in working together we will arrange to meet for further sessions, which may be a fixed number of sessions or open-ended therapy.

I abide by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy Codes of Ethics (please see 'Useful links').
I have Professional Indemnity Insurance.
